Description

It’s a relatively short ride from from Cristobal de Las Casas to Chamula. So I planned a bit of a round-a-bout way going there. And from there it’s into the mountains. Twisting roads into the Chiapas mountain ranges passing through plenty of villages and hopefully catch some nice scenic views. About 2/3rd of the way you’ll pass by Volcano Tzontehuitz, which has a peak of 2900 meters.

Overall not a very long road but the any twists and turns and villages along the way should allow for plenty of stops and mid-speed riding good for an afternoon adventure!

Due to bad weather we didn’t ride this route. And for that reason there is no actual route available for this. Just the free GPX track. Road conditions and such are unknown, but according to the map everything should be paved.
