Escape from La Paz for a day on this excellent adventure to Cabo san Lucas on the southern tip of Baja California Sur. A deep dive into BCS its tourist hotspot.
This route consists of 2 parts, the first stretch, about 210km long takes the scenic route through the mountains and passes the Tropico de Cancer monument about half way of the journey. On the way back to La Paz it’s mostly highways, almost 160 kilometers of it.
Cabo is a nice place to visit from time to time. Sit on the beautiful beach, explore the marina area and perhaps do some shopping or eat in a place that isn’t available in La Paz. Marked on the POI file you’ll find several fuel stations along the route as well as some parking locations in Cabo among some other locations.
