Description

More than 100 kilometers of non-stop twists and turns through mountains specked with small towns and beautiful lush nature all the way through… Or most of the way anyway. An excellent adventure indeed, or so we thought.

We intended to ride this track from Puerto Escondido to Oaxaca but about 80 kilometers in, the road was impassable for motorcycles due to excessive mud and landslides on the road. Parts of the road broke off and slid down. We didn’t feel comfortable trying to get past that and end up falling down the mountain. We ventured into this area for a few kilometers until we decided that it was too dangerous.

We backtracked to Puerto Escondido and improvised track t009 and route r009 instead.
