Available routes and tracks

Routes are prepared products you can buy and use on your navigation devices or mobile app.
Tracks are available free of charge and are a simplified version of the available routes.

Updates for routes are not included in your purchase. Download links expire 7 days after purchase.

Tracks and Routes are prepared with great care and attention. Most adventures have been tested by Arnan himself to see if they’re fun or do-able. However, discrepancies or extraneous conditions will arise from time to time. Road conditions and security on the road may change. As such, the use of MotoTravel routes and tracks is at your own risk and peril. I do not assume any responsibility for road safety, road conditions, route accuracy, navigation issues or any other mishap that may happen along the way in any way, shape or form. Read my Adventure preparations for more details.

If you happen to encounter any trouble on a track or route please let me know via the contact form so I can update the track or route.

Support and file compatibility

Route support is available for purchased routes primarily via the contact form. If you have one, please provide a valid order number to get support with a route.

Support is limited to help you use the files where necessary or explain how that is done. Also check out my guides on how to use GPX files.
If a route turns out to be unusable when driving/riding it I’ll see what I can do to help you out, but understand that routes that we tested and found viable does not guarantee the route is still doable in the future.

All tracks and routes offered through MotoTravel are tested to work in at least 2 mobile applications: Notably Osmand and BMW Connected. I also tested the format on the Routes and MapOut apps but do not extensively test all files on all 4 apps.

All applications and navigation devices that support GPX Routes, GPX Points of Interest (POI) should be compatible. Try the Philippines test route to see if the files offered on MotoTravel work for you. The route runs from the Bay of Manilla to the port of Batangas via Lake Taal in the Philippines.
For Mexican maps you can use the Mexico test route which will take you from Walmart in Cancun to the bus Terminal in Playa del Carmen.
